The acid-proof P&P glass tube heat exchangers GHX are suitable for numerous tasks such as evaporation, condensation, heating and cooling of gaseous and liquid media.
Glass tube heat exchangers offer, among other things, the advantage that acid dew points can be undercut and so the residual heat in the flue gas is fully utilised to achieve maximum efficiency.

With sulphuric acid there is a demanding requirement for corrosion protection. In sulphuric acid plants this is often solved by brick lining of the steel equipment. Our experience has shown that perfluoroalkoxy (PFA) lining offers the best possible acid protection up to 260°C and is far superior to brick lining. Our special fixing points allow seamless welding to the components.
